I survived triple-header this past weekend (nightlife, group shoot, & engagement), but I wanted to post a shot from the wedding I’m currently working on. This is Wendy & Scott’s wedding party at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach, CA.
More photos and a full post from the wedding soon!

This was part 2 of a double-header I shot right after the Queen Mary wedding. I started the day with a 10am drive to Long Beach and finished in Chula Vista (two hours away) at 11pm.
It was a long day, but you know what? I enjoyed every minute of it! Just give me some red bull throughout the day and I’m good

I’m in Long Beach three times this month within a span of two weeks, and all of which can be attributed to photography. I’m still amazed at the places it takes me, such as the Queen Mary for this wedding.
I got lost as I scouted the ship though.. good times

Quick shot from a Hard Rock Hotel wedding in San Diego with Petco Park lighting up the night sky. I love the neon colors in the area and definitely need to shoot an engagement here!
Have a good weekend everyone!

Just a 30-minute drive east of San Diego, Sycuan Resort provided the beautiful backdrop as Jessica & Joey celebrated their love for each other. Surrounded by grass-topped rolling hills, blue skies, and an outgoing bridal party, a photographer really couldn’t ask for more!
This was also the wedding debut of my newly acquired 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II, which blew me away in terms of sharpness and clarity. Shooting with VR for most of the day makes me wish my other lenses had it!

Diana & Ed, I love you guys, lol!
Prep, fun & intriguing. Wedding, beautiful. Reception.. HI-LAR-I-OUS!!! Someone please send me the link to the emcee’s facebook!
So I shot Diana & Ed’s engagement the prior month. There was about 30 seconds of awkwardness from my camera aimed right at them, but suddenly they both instantaneously became supermodels working the camera! Engagements are incredible. The couple gets to play dress up, I get to be a tourist, and we all get amaaaaaaaazing shots!
A month later and on their big day, it was like we didn’t miss a step with things just clicking so well. It makes me wonder if you guys always have this much fun all the time in LA because I’m seriously missing out!
Thank you for an amazing time, I definitely look forward to my next trip to the city and catching up over dinner
Katie & Nic had their wedding in Julian, the quaint little mountain town with the most delicious apple pies I’ve ever had. The drive up to the area was beautiful and a nice little getaway for the day.
