New blog format & minor changes

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on some ongoing and upcoming changes to the site.  I’ve changed the format to be more aesthetically pleasing, as well as show off images as best as possible.

I’ll also be combining my blog and events into this format, so I don’t have to double post when I do gigs or events.  This may give you some dead-end bookmarks, but I’ll try to minimize that as much as possible.  You can always go to the main site at ryanllora.com for updated links.

On another note, as technology progresses, photographers must constantly keep on the cutting edge if they wish to differentiate themselves from one another, and I am no exception.  So, with the rumored release of the Nikon D3100 (via nikonrumors.com), I am definitely looking at adding video to my gigs in the near future.

However, this will only be applicable if the noise levels (graininess) are acceptable.  Shooting super clean shots as I have in the past couple of months has spoiled me silly, but I am definitely eager to see what’s in store
